Sonika is currently SVP, Head of Marketing for Ticketmaster North America where she oversees Integrated Marketing across Sports, Music and other categories, Sponsorship & Partnership Marketing, Product Marketing and is building a new in-house Content Studio that includes Design, Editorial, and Creative Production capabilities. She is focused on championing fan-centric initiatives and data driven acquisition and retention strategies that deliver positive fan engagement and business growth.
Prior to that she was the Head of Marketing for DoorDash Drive where she built a team responsible for full-funnel integrated marketing, generating growth for merchants’ 1P platform across restaurants, retail, grocery and convenience.
She has led iconic brands like Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Activia, Lysol, Cadbury and more through brand transformations; championed breakthrough product innovation to better meet consumer needs; and launched an array of fresh marketing techniques, both digital and traditional, to drive preference and elevate consumer relevance and affinity.
Sonika received her MBA from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Her work has earned numerous awards including Effie Silver for Best Campaign, Effie Index for Most Effective Global Brand, Health Magazine for Best Innovation, and Cynopsis for Mountain Dew Esports and has been recognized in AdAge, CNN, PRWeek and more.
In her spare time, she mentors start-ups in the consumer tech, food & beverage and restaurant industry.
