Sarah Acer is an experienced social impact leader focused on driving business and social outcomes through storytelling, advocacy, systems change and transformational partnerships.

With nearly two decades of expertise in cause campaigns, philanthropy, policy and communications, Sarah currently serves as Chief Social Impact Officer at The Lede Company, a strategy, communications and impact consulting firm.

At Lede, Sarah oversees the social impact division where she works with some of the world’s most influential companies, nonprofits, artists and foundations to develop innovative programs and initiatives that are purpose- and insight-driven and focused on advancing a cause, program, partner or issue on a global scale.

Prior to Lede, Sarah has served as a nonprofit executive, consultant and corporate leader working with and within governments, the private sector and social impact organizations on systems change, sustainability and communications. Most recently, she led global philanthropy, corporate policy, partnerships and campaign design for Global Citizen, the world's largest advocacy organization focused on achieving the SDGs.There she helped lead some of the organization’s most historic campaigns including One World Together At Home, Global Citizen Live and Just Vote.

On a mission to convene and connect diverse stakeholders to creatively solve systemic human-centered problems, Sarah serves on the WHO Foundation US board to support the Go Give One campaign and holds a BS in sports medicine, an MEd in organizational change and systems improvement, and is completing a PhD focused on responsible leadership, policy and impact. When not leading social impact initiatives, Sarah can be found collecting passport stamps with her partner and their family or enjoying live music in New York City.
