Rick is a renowned business leader in the advertising community and has worked in digital media and technology for over 20 years. He’s helped build companies from start-ups to multibillion-dollar enterprises and his vertical experience spans from branded content, experiential and influencer marketing to programmatic, SaaS and CTV ad measurement. Rick currently serves as the President of the Brand Innovators Strategy Group, where his team helps clients engage with the top global brands from the largest marketer community of its kind. Previously, he was the GM of Digital Client Solutions at Nielsen, where he drove consistent double-digit revenue growth, contributing to Nielsen’s $16B sale to a private equity consortium in November 2022. Earlier, Rick’s held commercial leadership posts at transformative digital companies, including Yahoo!, Microsoft, iHeartMedia and Rocket Fuel.
Rick is an active industry volunteer and most recently served as Board Chair for The Advertising Club of New York -- the first advertising trade organization founded in 1896. He joined the Board of Harmony Program in 2021, a non-profit which provides music education to NYC's underserved communities. Rick is a former President of 212 NYC, a four-time IAB MIXX Awards Juror and a founding member of the Digital Content Newfronts. For seven years, he was the Benefit Chair for non-profit Young Audiences NY, which delivers performing arts programs to NYC public schools. Rick is a native New Yorker and holds a BA from Carnegie Mellon University.
