Rachel is currently Director, Brand Media Strategy & Activation at Verizon, responsible for
demand and engagement generation. Her current focus includes driving the brand
transformation to a tech company through leadership on 5G, Citizen Verizon and Diversity &
Inclusion initiatives. Upon joining Verizon in early 2017, Rachel has led product launches such as
5G, 5G home, and Visible and key tentpole initiatives such as Super & Oscars. She has
concepted and driven innovative first-time marketing programs such as the NYT 5G Journalism
Lab partnership, the first Black O&O media summit and Find the 8 – the first ever AR scavenger
hunt on SnapChat for iphone 8.
Attracted to the challenge of a corporate turnaround, Rachel joined Hewlett Packard
Company in 2013 to help establish a centralized media communications center of excellence
as well as digitally advance the marketing capabilities of the organization. Her
responsibilities as a Director in the Global Media & Digital Marketing team,
included global communications strategy and planning for the printing and personal
systems business units, global campaign coordination, media agency relationship
management, strategic media partnerships and driving advancement of the overall
media practice.
