Mitu Yilma is Director of Content + Brand for Born This Way Foundation where she oversees the communications and digital strategy for the organization. She is passionate about centering the stories and experiences of young people, and deeply believes in the power of strategic storytelling to spark needed change. Prior to joining Born This Way Foundation, Mitu served in digital and marketing roles for Working America, the community affiliate of AFL-CIO, Advancement Project, The Atlantic, and National Journal. Mitu is a graduate of Duke University.
