A 20-year veteran in digital media, technology, and entertainment, Minjae Ormes is the CMO at Visible (http://www.visible.com), an innovative all-digital wireless carrier, easily accessible through the Visible app, that offers an unlimited and streamlined phone service. Visible is uniquely engineered to change the experience of the digitally driven generation of consumers.
In her role, Minjae leads all of the strategic marketing efforts across Visible, including Brand, Creative, Communications, Social, Member Engagement, and more.
Before joining Visible, Minjae, who is regarded as a progressive, creative marketer, led the global partner marketing and media teams at YouTube. Her scope included overseeing partnerships marketing activities and media activations for all of YouTube's subscription products. Most notably, Minjae led the launch of YouTube’s first ever top creator campaign globally, solidifying the platform as a top millennial destination and the leader in content and streaming.
Earlier in her career, Minjae’s expertise were instrumental in building successful new franchises and digital initiatives for a number of leading organizations including The Walt Disney Studios, National Geographic Channel, and Tribeca Film Institute.
Minjae earned her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Services from Georgetown University and a Master of Arts in Cinema Studies from New York University. She has received multiple recognitions for her work, including an AdWeek Media Campaign of the Year Award, People’s Choice Webby Award, PR Campaign of the Year Gold Award, and various Mark Awards for Marketing Excellence.
