Michelle’s leadership in Fortune 500 companies has been sought by chief executive officers, operating teams, and boards of directors to unlock brand and customer value via modern marketing, using data, digital, marketing technology and world-class branding to grow and future-proof the firm.
Michelle has held leadership roles in some of the world’s most recognized marketing agencies, including Bronner Slosberg Humphrey (currently Digitas), Epsilon and Ogilvy where she built high-performing teams as head of the multi-million dollar consulting practice then co-President and Chief Operating Officer of Ogilvy’s New York flagship office during a period of high growth.
Michelle has also served on executive teams in Chief Marketing Officer roles within corporate environments. For the past ten years, Michelle she has led enterprise growth strategy focused on digital transformation, brand stewardship, demand generation and customer growth. She has led in-market initiatives and built scalable marketing capabilities able to use data, digital, marketing technology and branded content growing some of the world’s best brands. Her operating team experience includes: US then global CMO for Barclaycard - the fifth largest credit card company in the world, CMO for Mercer - the world’s largest human capital consultancy, Staples - the fifth largest US e-commerce site, and New York Life - the largest US mutual life insurance company. She is an independent board director for the Bose Corporation, the Society for Human Resource Management and Own the Room, a training organization that enables successful people to have a breakthrough in their ability to land their messages with audiences large and small.
Michelle has been honored with recognitions as one of “New York’s Most Influential Women in Marketing” by Agency Spotter in 2019, the “Marketing 50” by World 50, the “Marketing Hall of Femme” by Direct Marketing News, a “Women to Watch” by AdAge, and “Working Mother of the Year” by Advertising Women of New York.
She is a graduate of Northeastern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She attended Boston University where she pursued courses toward a Ph.D. in Economics.
Michelle lives in Princeton, New Jersey with her husband, David, and their two teenage daughters.
