A marketing communications professional with a hybrid of agency and brand-side experience, Julia has spent her career managing campaigns across the travel, consumer goods, health care, arts and culture, and nonprofit categories.
As the director of operations for global advertising and social media at United Airlines, Chicago's hometown airline, she oversees project and financial operations, contracts, supplier relationships, business affairs, measurement and reporting, and social media initiatives with employees and executives.
In 2022 her team launched Good Leads The Way, United's largest national brand advertising campaign in nearly a decade, across TV, streaming, movie theaters, billboards, public transportation and other media. United was recognized among ten brands by Ad Age as a 2022 Marketer of the Year – the only airline to make the list.
Before joining United, Julia oversaw a large client portfolio as vice president and project director at Edelman and produced digital campaigns at Leo Burnett. Originally from Florida, she received her B.A. in the social sciences and M.S. in marketing communications from Northwestern University.
