"Jason Li is currently the Global EVP, Strategy for creator company Whalar. In this role, Jason spearheads the global Creative Strategy team, overseeing the development and delivery of robust creative briefs and strategic frameworks for both brands and platforms.
Jason has extensive experience in brand marketing, creative strategy, and digital strategy at technology and CPG companies, including Meta, and P&G. His track record includes proven success in achieving measurable business outcomes and product growth for global brands, fueled by data-driven strategies and creativity.
Before joining Whalar, Jason served as Global Director at Meta’s Creative Shop where he scaled Meta’s advertising business through creative excellence and product innovation. During his decade long tenure at Meta (formerly Facebook), he grew adoption of Instagram Stories, Reels, and the metaverse. He also led digital transformation for Fortune 500 clients in CPG, retail, financial services, technology verticals such as Unilever, American Express, and Amazon.
Prior to Meta, Jason was a Brand Manager at P&G, where he led the launch of the ‘Thank you, Mom’ campaign behind the Olympic Games and a companywide digital restructure.
