Abhinit is a coder turned ad-nerd & strategist with close to 16 yrs of work experience across leading advertising agencies and tech firms in Singapore & India.
He is currently working as Senior Strategy Director in TBWA Singapore, leading global strategy for Singapore Airlines and APAC strategy for Hilton Hotels.
In his previous stint as Regional Planning Director at Publicis Singapore, he led strategy for P&G hair care (Head & Shoulders and Rejoice), oral care (Oral-B) for the APAC region.
Before Publicis, he worked as Strategy Director at Wunderman Thompson and Ogilvy Singapore leading strategy for Unilever brands - Lux & Pond's Men (Global), Vaseline & Comfort (APAC).
Before Ogilvy, he worked in leading advertising agencies such as Publicis, MullenLowe Lintas, DDB & Leo Burnett in India and led strategy for brands such as Heineken, Twitter, McDonald’s, Volkswagen, Skoda, Kingfisher, OneTouch (Johnson & Johnson), Kissan (Unilever), SonyLIV (OTT platform), Firstcry.com and Zee TV.
Throughout his advertising career, he has won numerous effectiveness awards such as Effie (including APAC Effie GOLD & Effie India GOLD) and Strategy & Effectiveness Spikes Asia. He has also served on the jury of APAC Effie since 2018 and Effie India in 2016.
He has been a visiting faculty and guest lecturer in various management institutes in Singapore such as SMU Lee Kong Chian School of Business and in India such as MICA, FLAME, SIMC and XIC for the last 9 years and teaches subjects related to brand strategy, advertising and strategic planning.
