Pedro is Vice President, Business Growth, Digital Marketing & Transformation at Horizon Media Inc. He is charged with the strategic development of plans and programs for growing digital business at Horizon Media, co-leading the Multicultural Social Media Practice, as well as overseeing Partnerships & Special Projects including the Voice Offering. In 2019, he was named one of Adweek's Media All-Stars, after appearing on Adweek's 2018 Young Influentials list. In 2017, he launched Horizon Media’s Voice Practice, focused on artificial intelligence (machine learning) as it relates to voice assistants (e.g. Alexa) and voice-enabled devices (e.g. Google Home) in order to provide strategy, content, and voice app (e.g. skills, actions) development services to Horizon clients.
Pedro is a former blogger for the HuffingtonPost, where he focused on emerging social and digital trends. Past professional recognitions include being named a 2015 Direct Marketing News 40 Under 40 Award Recipient and Winner of FOLIO Magazine Marketer of the Year Award when he was Director of Integrated Marketing at People en Español (Time Inc.), bringing to life integrated marketing and branding campaigns. During his time as a member of the Digital Innovation Group at Cohn & Wolfe (WPP) he worked across consumer, healthcare, corporate and technology clients creating social and digital media communication strategies. Pedro's branding and marketing experience includes roles at HBO’s New York International Latino Film Festival and Ocean Drive Español (Niche Media Holdings LLC).
Pedro serves as a Board Member for the People’s Theatre Project, an ensemble-based theatre with and for Upper Manhattan's immigrant community and seeks to develop the next generation of diverse, socially-engaged artists and leaders. He is an active member of the LAGRANT Foundation, mentoring young minority professionals entering the communications field, and part of OUT in Tech and God's Love We Deliver in NYC.Member Directory
