Nic Allum is an independent cultural anthropologist, strategist and avowed supernerd with 25+ years of pioneering global experience building progressive brands, platforms, content, experiences and communities - and understanding niches, fandoms and subcultures at their deepest levels. She also serves as Creative Director for DoTheWeRQ, a grassroots LGTBQ+ advocacy group for the marketing industry, is a columnist for AdWeek, Mediapost and WARC and is a guest lecturer at Northwestern University on cultural branding.
