Michele Promaulayko is the Editor-in-Chief of Yahoo Health.

She was previously the Vice President/Editor-in-Chief of Women’s Health, one of the fastest-growing magazines in the U.S. At the helm since January 2009, Michele was responsible for all facets of the brand, including the magazine, website, digital apps, books, and 24 international editions.

Under Michele’s leadership, Women’s Health evolved into one of the largest contemporary women’s lifestyle magazines in the country. It was #1 in newsstand sales among all wellness titles during her tenure, outselling the competition by over 100K copies each per month.

Women’s Health won a 2011 ASME National Magazine Award in the category of General Excellence in Fashion, Service, and Lifestyle and was again nominated for the General Excellence award in 2013 and 2014 (in the Active Interest category). Also in 2013 Women’s Health won the prestigious Maggie Award from Planned Parenthood and was honored on Advertising Age’s A-List (WH was named Magazine of the Year by Advertising Age in October 2009). In March 2010, Women’s Health was for the second time included on Adweek’s annual Hot List, securing the No. 2 spot.

Michele is also the author of 20 Pounds Younger (2015), a life-transforming plan that harnesses the power of mindful eating and strength training to erase the aging effects of poor health habits.

In 2009, Michele authored Look Better Naked! The 6-Week Plan to Your Leanest, Hottest Body—Ever!, which arms women with the fitness, diet, and beauty advice they need to achieve ultimate confidence.

Michele has been an expert guest on television programs such as TODAY, The Early Show, The Rachael Ray Show, CNN, Extra, FOX News, Access Hollywood Live, The Doctors, and Katie.
