As Associate Director of Employer Branding, she drives internal and external employer branding activations and campaigns, helping establish Chewy as an employer of choice in order to attract and retain talent – while providing strategic support to the greater business around culture, values, and employee engagement.
Prior to Chewy.com, Kara worked as the Global Manager of Brand and Digital Strategy for the Velcro Companies, inventors of the VELCRO® fastener, overseeing the implementation and management of the global digital marketing strategy in the U.S., EMEA, LATAM and APAC markets, helping develop strategic communications and channel strategies to grow the iconic VELCRO® brand and connect with consumers.
Kara is a 2021 Google Rare Leadership Academy delegate, a 2020 Adweek Executive Mentee, a Social Media Today "Mover and Shaker" and a proud alumnus of Babson College, earning an MBA with a specialization in Global Strategic Management.
