Jake Harper is a journalist and producer currently living in Los Angeles. At WFYI in Indianapolis, he made two seasons of Sick, which was named one of the best podcasts of the year by The Atlantic. He has also worked on numerous projects as a freelancer, and his reporting on prisons, Medicaid and addiction has appeared on NPR, Kaiser Health News, Latino USA and the Washington Post.

Jake grew up as a band kid in Georgia. In his spare time now, he takes ceramics classes, makes pizza, writes stand-up material and takes long walks around the city.
