Andrew Miles has been involved in the entertainment and media industries for over 20 years and is currently VP, Global Brand Partnerships for Variety Content Studio, based in New York City.

Miles has been a senior sales and marketing executive for a series of prominent media brands including Advertising Age/Creativity, PROMAX&BDA, the New York Times, Oprah.com/OWN and the Huffington Post.

Miles quickly saw the trend in the industry towards cross-platform selling and developed his skill set towards producing award-winning campaigns using various formats such as print, display, mobile, branded content and live events for Fortune 500 companies. His depth of integrated selling experience covers multiple verticals including consumer packaged goods, retail, finance, luxury, technology, and auto. He successfully structured the framework of content partnerships with brands such as Starbucks, State Farm, P&G, CNBC, Universal Pictures, Toyota, Verizon, Microsoft, Absolut, Johnson & Johnson, Prudential, J.P. Morgan Chase, PepsiCo, Kraft, Hasbro, General Mills, and Cricket Wireless.

Prior to joining Variety, Miles was Director of Brand Storytelling at Upworthy. Miles also has a passion for community involvement and volunteerism including his role as a mentor for over 15 years and is an active board member for Mindful Harlem in New York. He received his Master of Arts degree with Phi Kappa Phi honors in Entertainment Studies from USC’s Annenberg School of Communications and holds a B.S. degree from Northwestern University in Education/Human Development & Social Policy.
