Ciro was born in New York, raised in Colombia. Over 20 years of experience in both North and South American markets have given him a leading role in the U.S. creative industry and plenty of recognition in international festivals around the world.
In 2008 he moved from Colombia to the United States to lead multicultural agencies like LatinWorks, Leo Burnett and Omnicom’s Dieste, focusing on developing work that makes an impact in culture for global clients like Anheuser-Busch, AT&T, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Frito-Lay, and Kellogg’s.
Ciro joined Weber Shandwick as Chief Creative Officer in February of 2021. He’s also been a keynote speaker at Cannes Lions, Ted Talk and D&AD; promoting diversity, cultural intelligence, and creativity.
