Her expertise areas include sports marketing, entrepreneurship, membership development, board relations, social media, business development & sales. She is a frequent speaker on sports marketing, sponsorship and sales development and she has been interviewed as an industry expert by media outlets including CNN. Her work has been covered by numerous national & local media outlets including The New York Times, Forbes, Chicago Tribune, SportsBusiness Journal… to name a few.
As the Executive Director of the National Sports Marketing Network (NSMN) – the industry’s trade first and only trade association she founded in 1998, Jennifer has become the voice of the sports business industry, developing dynamic programming that attracts news makers as speakers; a stellar Board of industry leadership to govern her company; and one of the most comprehensive benefits programs of any member-based organization. She spearheads the organization’s educational initiatives, marketing, membership and business development, overseeing nearly a dozen local Boards and a National Executive Board. Today, this rapidly growing national organization includes more than 10,000 members in more than 52 cities - and offers free educational programming in six cities.
In recognition of her contributions to the sports business industry, Jennifer has received multiple nominations for SportsBusiness Journal’s prestigious “Forty-Under-40” award & for SportsBusiness Journal’s “Female Game Changer” award. In 2012, Jennifer was honored by CNN and named to the CNN New Guard – a prestigious group of 60 newsmakers selected from across the country.
