The series garnered many awards and honors, including a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Explanatory Reporting, the Society of Professional Journalist’s (SPJ) Sigma Delta Chi Public Service Award and a Gerald Loeb Award for Online Enterprise. At the Wall Street Journal, Emily also worked as a social media editor.
