About

Colin Chow is the Global Managing Partner at TwentyFirstCenturyBrand (21CB), a brand and marketing consultancy with the mission to build the most influential brands of our time. In his role, he is responsible for leading the North American business and team, while guiding clients like Headspace, Google, Instacart, and Walmart.

Colin is a “diagonal thinker” who believes that great brands are built by combining rigorous strategic insight with heart-stopping creativity. This left brain/right brain approach was shaped by his undergraduate degree in Art History and his J.D. from Yale Law School.

Before finding his true calling in brand strategy, Colin started his career at McKinsey & Co. where he led engagements for global companies and cultural institutions like MoMA.

Since then, Colin’s career has centered on creating clarity amidst chaos for purpose-driven brands with the ambition to redefine categories and challenge convention. Prior to 21CB, Colin ran the west coast offices and eventually became CEO at Redscout, a strategic innovation consultancy whose client roster included Airbnb, Netflix, and Nike. Colin also previously served as Managing Director for Sterling Brands where he led brand and innovation projects for clients including Google, MSNBC and Visa.

Colin has become a trusted advisor to founders and c-suite leaders who value not only his deep experience in building purpose-led brands, but also his empathetic guidance and rare ability to connect brand to business fundamentals.
